Opdracht:
– Accountable for Specialist and Technical Hands on Support of Services within a delivery geography in IS
– In support of overall Supply of IT Infrastructure, responsible for:
o Providing technical SME to Cluster Manager / Team Lead to help manage service deployments, upgrades and other changes in cluster
o Providing support to the cluster / team for roll out of new services, interfacing between the category and regional delivery teams
o Other elements of the role are: Investigate escalations identified to service solution issues in cluster from category teams including coordinating between suppliers and Category team
o Undertake retained supply activities as agreed with category
– Collaborating or being consulted on:
o As appropriate, coordinate resources in specific geography including people management of support analysts
– Differentiating role factors:
o Knowledge Business Process: Has good knowledge of all business processes including relation to the own discipline and anticipates the technical and functional consequences. Has contact on own initiative with internal customers.
o Analysis: Draws conclusions based on analysis within technical and functional discipline (e.g. analysis of functional consequences because of configuration changes) and gives advice on optimizing existing practice
o Guidance: Works under supervision within work agreements; work is monthly reviewed by manager. Sets priorities on own initiative and discusses planning and operational plan with suppliers and internal customers
o Procedures, Processes & Tools Contributes to new policies, procedures, processes, tools and systems for a technical discipline (e.g. security) and improves/optimizes existing policies, procedures, processes, tools and systems (e.g. IM manual chapter)
o Advisory Level: Analyses and advises on different alternatives (tactical analysis) and ensures the implementation of proposed solutions/advices
o Expertise: Professional with broad and/or extensive knowledge in own specialized field built on an understanding of the theoretical concepts and principles and their specific technical and functional context
Eisen:
– At least >10 years relevant work experience in IM functions
– At least >10 years relevant experiences in PBX / IPT domains
– Good knowledge of firewalls is definitely an advantage
– Good general managerial and communication skills
– Excellent knowledge of IT Infrastructure within AkzoNobel (especially cluster)
– Excellent understanding of the main functional and architectural elements and requirements
– Experience in regional Infrastructure Services service delivery management and operational support
– Experience working in another area of IM and/or company
– ITIL v3 Foundation Certified
– Cisco certified
– Good project management skills
